The Williamstown Martime Association is proud to present their fourth annual Boat Show, this year highlighting Victoria's Colonial Navy history. Williamstown saw the formation of the first Colonial Navy in Australia, which was forerunner of the Royal Australian Navy of today.  ca. 1891 - The convict hulk "Success" - the story of her life and the lives of those who filled her cells : Melbourne :s.n., 1891., HMS Success was built in Moulmein, Burma, in 1840 ; She was for a period a receiving prison ship in Hobsons Bay, Victoria and almost ended her days scuttled in Port Jackson in 1885, but was later raised, rerigged and exhibited -- fraudulently -- as a convict transport claimed to be 100 years old when in fact she was only 50 ; set her alight on the Fourth of July 1946 at Port Clinton, Ohio.
